Outdoor Activities
While Glendale parks provide a place to relax and enjoy nature, there are a number of other outdoor activities, including golf and even shopping! Glendale residents can be at the beach, in the moutains, or in the desert within about an hour's drive.
Recreational Centers
There are a variety of health clubs and fitness centers in Glendale, including a YMCA. In addition, a number of country clubs and golf courses are available. Nearby griffith Park has an observatory as well as horeseback riding trails, and Burbank features an equestrian center.
