The Diagnostic Imaging Services department at Glendale Memorial Hospital is a full-service Radiology Center accredited by the American College of Radiology (ACR). It is the only imaging department currently in the entire region to receive ACR's Gold Seal of Accreditation in Diagnostic X-ray, Nuclear Medicine, MRI, Ultrasound, CT, and Breast Imaging.
The department is also a leading participant in the "Image Gently" and "Image Wisely" campaigns with dose conscientious, patient type specific protocols, and sophisticated technology to reduce patient radiation dose.

Computed Tomography (CT) - optimizes quality, speed and patient comfort to help improve diagnoses

Direct Digital Radiography (DDR) - captures the image directly on a digital detector and appears on the computer screen within seconds, reducing examination times

Interventional Radiology (IR) - CT, Ultrasound and Flouro-guided biopsies, vascular imaging, pain management procedures including epidurals and nerve blocks, uterine fibroid embolization and more

Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) - a state-of-the-art 1.5 Tesla Z-Gradient MRI with a large center to reduce claustrophobia and a short bore for improved patient comfort and scan noise

Nuclear Medicine (NM) - supports general bone and body imaging, advanced cardiac imaging and organ evaluations

Ultrasonography (US) - for general, OB, carotid and peripheral vascular exams
