What is Minimally Invasive Surgery?
Using specialized techniques that include miniature cameras with microscopes, tiny fiber optic lights and high definition computer monitors, surgeons can help correct many problems without requiring the patient to undergo major surgery. Minimally invasive surgery is performed with small incisions. It’s performed both on an inpatient (stay in the hospital) and outpatient (go home the same day) basis.
