Taking care of women’s health care needs is one of the most important aspects of what we do at Glendale Memorial. Our Women’s Center offers board-certified physicians, a nurse practitioner, and friendly staff who are all available to assist you regardless of what stage you are in your life.
The services we provide range from complete OB/GYN to high-risk pregnancy care.
Comprehensive OB/GYN services including:
Pelvic exams
One of the most important aspects of staying healthy. This yearly exam can help you take care of any problems or potential problems before they become serious.

Breast exams
You should conduct self-exams each month, noting any changes. When you come to the Women’s Center, we’ll also conduct exams and recommend a mammography, especially if you’re over 40.
Full pregnancy services including:
Pregnancy tests
If you suspect you’re pregnant, come here for a test. We look for a special hormone in both the urine and the blood, one that’s only there when a woman is pregnant. It’s called human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG).
Comprehensive Perinatal Services Program (CPSP)
The Comprehensive Perinatal Services Program (CPSP) was implemented in 1987 as a Medi-Cal fee-for-service program for low-income pregnant women. CPSP integrates nutrition, psychosocial, and health education assessments, interventions, and perinatal education with basic obstetrical care. Glendale Memorial is proud to be CPSP certified by the California Department of Public Health.

Family P.A.C.T. Program
Family Planning, Access, Cure and Treatment (PACT) is California's innovative approach to provide comprehensive family planning services to eligible low-income men and women. This state funded program provides clinical services as well as education, counseling and treatment for family planning and reproductive health at no cost to low-income residents filling a critical gap in health care. You are eligible if you live in California, are at risk of pregnancy or causing a pregnancy, have a gross family income at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty level (currently $1700/month, for an individual), and have no other source of health care coverage for family planning services.
Prenatal Care and High-risk pregnancies
The Women’s Center at Glendale Memorial offers extensive prenatal care including care of high-risk pregnant women. High-risk pregnant women have more barriers to early and continuous prenatal, neonatal, and post-partum (eg. breastfeeding) care than the rest of the population.
