Patient Valuables Policy
Glendale Memorial Hospital and Health Center keeps a fireproof safe in accordance with California Civil Code Section 1860. If you decide to leave any valuables in the hospital's safe, we are only liable for up to $250. If you choose not to use our safe, we are not liable for any lost articles.
We recommend that valuable property either be deposited in the hospital's safe at the time you are admitted or, preferably, be left at home or in the custody of a family member or trustworthy friend, or in some other safe place.
